Environmental Statement

In a progressive city like Madison, WI an environmental ethic is second nature.

Home of Earth Day and the first city in the US to offer curbside recycling, we consistently rank as one of the greenest cities in the country. At Great Big Pictures, Inc. we are driven to live up to that.

Since our founding in 1973, our aim at Great Big Pictures has been to conserve natural resources and reduce waste in every level of production, and in every aspect of business. In an often-unsympathetic industry, we are encouraged to find companies who share this common goal and who seek environmentally conscious print solutions.

Great Big Pictures demonstrates this commitment by:green initiative

• Supporting and complying with environmental regulations
• Promoting eco-awareness with our clients and vendors
• Using recycled office paper and recycled packing and shipping materials
• Eliminating paper correspondence whenever possible
• Implementing energy-saving systems throughout our facility
• Reclaiming, reusing and/or donating surplus materials
• Recycling all waste generated at the source
• Researching and prioritizing earth-friendly inks and media
• Patronizing local product suppliers
• Contributing to ecological causes

Part of our legacy will be the continual pursuit in reducing our environmental footprint. If you have any suggestions or concerns, please contact our Webmaster..
